It’s one decision that changed the world late this summer Studiocanal UK release a second Trailer for Pressure. It’s all about the weather and Brendan Fraser wants a forecast from Andrew Scott!
Who needs Michael Fish when you have the ‘hot priest’ from Fleabag? One thing here in the UK we’ve learned not to do is rely on the weather reports. However in 1944, the hours leading up to D-Day the weather was a pivotal part of the Allies defeating the Nazis. Pressure is that story of the British meteorologist who helped Dwight D. Eisenhower guide the allies to victory.
Scott plays Stagg with Fraser as Eisenhower. They are joined by Kerry Condon, Damian Lewis, Chris Messina, Henry Ashton, Con O’Neill, Daniel Quinn-Toye, Toby Williams, and Max Croes.

Synopsis | In the seventy two hours leading up to D-Day, all the pieces are in place except for one key element – the British weather.
Britain’s chief meteorological officer James Stagg (Andrew Scott) is called upon to deliver the most consequential forecast in history, locking him into a tense standoff with the entire Allied leadership. The wrong conditions could devastate the largest ever seaborne invasion, while any delay risks German intelligence catching on. With only his trusted aide Captain Kay Summersby (Kerry Condon) to confide in, and haunted by a catastrophic D-Day rehearsal, the final decision rests with Supreme Allied Commander Dwight D. Eisenhower (Brendan Fraser).
With only hours to go, the fate of the war and the lives of millions hang in the balance.
Pressure will be released in UK and Irish cinemas from 9th September. If you live in the U.S it’s in cinemas now.
