    Celeste Rivas Hernandez’s family is speaking out as details from court filings continue to surface. As the case against D4vd unfolds, the latest details are not only drawing public attention but also deepening the emotional toll on those closest to her.

    Celeste’s Family Reacts To Disturbing New Court Allegations

    In response to newly filed documents, Celeste Rivas Hernandez’s family says they are shocked by the latest claims. Additionally, their attorney shared that the continued release of details has been painful for them.

    The lawyer added that the family is trying to navigate their grief while maintaining their day-to-day responsibilities. So moving forward, they will not be making direct public statements, choosing instead to have their legal representative speak on their behalf.

    “In light of the gruesome details emerging almost daily, the family has decided not to make any statements now or in the future. There are no words to express the indescribable pain the family is experiencing right now. They still have bills to pay and jobs they go to every day. All they want is time to grieve and heal. Please grant the Rivas Hernandez family grace and compassion,” shared the family lawyer, Patrick Steinfeld.

    What Timeline Details Sparked The Family’s Response?

    The reaction from Celeste’s family comes as prosecutors have outlined a deeply troubling timeline in court documents. According to the prosecutors’ brief, D4vd allegedly arranged for Celeste to be transported to his home on April 23, 2025. It was also revealed that the two had a tense exchange the night before.
    The legal brief highlights alleged text messages that investigators believe marked a shift in their relationship and may help establish a motive. Prosecutors allege D4vd “stabbed” Celeste multiple times after she threatened to expose their inappropriate and illegal relationship. Furthermore, he allegedly remained at the scene as she was dying before attempting to conceal what occurred. They further claim he placed her body in an inflatable pool in an effort to contain the evidence inside the garage. According to the filing, D4vd later used a chainsaw to dismember the 14-year-old’s body and further conceal evidence.

    New Timeline Brings Parents Back Into Spotlight

    As previously reported, even Celeste Rivas Hernandez’s parents were pulled into the spotlight amid the case. Law enforcement sources say the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office launched an investigation into allegations of neglect and abuse in April 2024. The probe began weeks after her family reported her missing from her Lake Elsinore home. And, officers responded after someone raised concerns about a runaway juvenile.
    Authorities visited the home and interviewed those present, but ultimately found no evidence of wrongdoing. Ultimately, clearing her parents in the investigation. Officials also noted they were unable to speak with Celeste at the time since she had not yet been located, leaving key questions unanswered. In the months that followed, prosecutors allege Celeste remained in contact with D4vd and traveled to multiple locations before eventually returning home later that year.
