Madrid and Sociedad have named their starting sides for their La Liga match at the Santiago Bernabeu on Wednesday.
The hosts won 2-1 at Espanyol on Saturday in their first competitive match of Jose Mourinho’s second spell in charge, Carlos Espi scoring a 90th-minute winner.
Starting a season as Sociedad boss for the first time, Pellegrino Matarazzo oversaw a 1-0 opening defeat at Betis for the team who finished 10th and won the Copa del Rey in 2025/26.
Los Blancos have won 10 and lost one of their last 12 league games at the Bernabeu, where they are on a six-match unbeaten run in the top flight including five wins.
