New Liverpool boss Andoni Iraola takes charge of his first game as the Reds play fellow Premier League side Sunderland in a pre-season friendly in Nashville.
Iraola, who replaced Arne Slot as head coach just a few days after the Dutch manager was sacked, has opted for a largely youthful side, with many of his senior players having not yet returned after the World Cup.
Meanwhile, Sunderland, who finished in seventh last term following promotion from the Championship, will be looking for a positive showing as Regis Le Bris’ side look to emulate last season’s impressive campaign.
