Actress Demi Moore recently made an appearance on the red carpet at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival. At the time, she showed off a whole new hairstyle, one that was strikingly different than one she sported earlier at the event. Recently, Moore made an appearance at the 79th annual Cannes Film Festival on Thursday, May 21. She was on the red carpet for the premiere of La Bola Negra.
Appearing in a floor-length sapphire blue gown with a short train trailing behind her, the actress also showed off a new hairstyle. Her dark locks were parted to the side and styled into curls that touched her shoulders.
This followed the actress shocking fans with a bob hairstyle during Milan Fashion Week earlier this year. While at Gucci’s FW26 Fashion Show at Palazzo Delle Scintille in late February, she combined the short style with a wet look. At the time, she paired the look with a black ensemble, complete with matching shades.

For years, Moore has been known for sporting long locks as part of her signature style. In fact, she sported a longer hairstyle when spotted during the opening night of the Cannes Festival, just earlier this month.
However, Moore has often sported shorter looks, especially for her film roles. She famously wore a pixie cut in Ghost and even sported a buzzcut for G.I. Jane.

In a post on Instagram, Moore also recently opened up about attending the festival. Towards the start of the events, she wrote, “Cannes is not just a festival — it is a conversation between art and humanity that has been happening for nearly eight decades. To be invited into that conversation as a jury member is an honor and privilege. Grateful to stand alongside my fellow jury members at this year’s Opening Ceremony.”
