Denise Richards First Stepped Into The Role Of Shauna Fulton On The Bold & The Beautiful In 2019
Richards is known for a variety of films and television shows. In the world of reality television, she is known for appearing on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
However, soap fans know that Richards is also part of The Bold and the Beautiful. In 2019, she joined the cast as Shauna Fulton.
Viewers last saw her on the soap in 2022. However, it’s been announced that she will officially return to the soap on the episode airing this Thursday, May 28, 2026.
Richards’ appearance had already been teased in last week’s preview video, which also shared that Darin Brooks was returning as Wyatt Spencer. In the meantime, the actress has already opened up about what it was like coming back to the soap.
Speaking with People, Richards shared, “It’s nice to be back. It feels like I never left. It’s such a great family environment, and I love my character. She likes to cause a little trouble.”
On The Soap, Shauna Is Set To Reunite With A Former Flame
While it can be intimidating to return to a show after a while, Richards shared that this wasn’t the case for the soap. She assured, “Everyone’s just very embracing and very supportive. The actors I was working with made it so much easier to step back in.”
Richards was also happy to return around the same time as Brooks, who last appeared on the soap in 2024. She noted, “I loved that Darin was returning too. I like that with Wyatt and Shauna, our characters, we’re light and fun, so we’ll see where we go. A lot of times, we have no idea what’s going to happen, too, which is so fun getting the scripts every Friday.”
At this time, fans already have a glimpse at what Shauna’s first scenes back will be like. She can be seen greeting Bill Spencer and Wyatt while at Spencer Publications. She shared, “The Spencer men are so handsome — especially you, Bill,” while congratulating Logan on his company.
Shauna continues, “I mean, too bad things didn’t work out with Eric Forrester. Katie must be on the hunt for a new designer. Remember, Bill, I ran some very high-end boutiques in Vegas, and it just so happens I’m available now. I can just imagine getting in on the ground floor of the newest game in town. Wouldn’t that be something?” Of course, fans will have to watch The Bold and the Beautiful to see what happens next.
