Elijah Blue Allman’s estranged wife, Marieangela King, is asking a court to intervene in her spousal support battle after claiming Cher‘s son is receiving medical care following his two arrests earlier this year and hasn’t consistently paid her since late last year.
“My husband is currently in the hospital,” King, 38, claimed in her Tuesday, April 14, declaration, exclusively obtained by Us Weekly. “This request is simply about addressing existing court-ordered support that has not been paid.”
King asked the Superior Court of California, County of Los Angeles for assistance in having the trustee of Allman’s estate, Michael Lehman, make direct payments to her amid his health ups and downs. (King alleged in a Tuesday petition that Allman, 49, is “receiving medical care” at the hospital following his February arrest for assault and criminal trespassing and March arrest for an alleged break-in in New Hampshire.)
King explained in her filing that she’s known Lehman since 2017, and from that point on he has served as the trustee of the G.A. Robbins Descendants Trust.
She alleged that after the court issued an order requiring Allman to pay her spousal support, she spoke with Lehman in November 2025 via a three-way call.
“I urged Mr. Lehman to pay the past-due spousal support and attorneys fees on [Elijah’s] behalf,” King claimed in her declaration. “Mr. Lehman said that he had available funds and agreed to make total payments of $24,000.”

She noted that to her “knowledge,” Lehman “controls trust distributions to or for the benefit of” Elijah, who is the son of Cher, 79, and late ex-husband Gregg Allman.
King added that since Elijah is seeking medical care, she wants the court to ensure that the “basic financial support is honored” by Lehman in her estranged husband’s absence.
“I am not taking an adversarial position against him personally,” she argued. “I am asking the court to consider available resources, including the estate, to satisfy existing obligations during a time when he is not able to manage these matters himself.”
King added that in order to “satisfy the court’s orders” from previous negotiations, “joinder of the trustee is necessary to allow the court to effectively enforce its existing support and fee orders.”
King — who filed for divorce from Elijah in April 2025 after initially separating in April 2020 and failing to dismiss their divorce in January 2024 — also filed a petition with the court on Tuesday as a “supplemental pleading” for a scheduled hearing set to take place on May 6.
The petition confirmed that King is asking the court to enforce the “existing temporary spousal support and attorney-fee orders and any future orders the court may issue” from the trust, which is handled by Lehman.

She noted that in November 2025 the trust issued a $10,000 check payable to King’s attorney, Regina Ratner, for her fees. The filing confirmed that the trust also paid $14,000 toward spousal support directly to King.
However, King claimed in the petition that Elijah has not “fully satisfied required support payments” after being ordered by the court in summer 2025 to pay her $6,500 per month.

King alleged that she hasn’t received spousal support since the November 2025 checks.
“[Elijah] requests that the estate recognize the sensitive nature of the circumstances and continue to issue payments directly from the estate in accordance with the court’s support orders,” the filing reads.
Furthermore, King is asking for an “order joining Michael Lehman, as trustee of the G.A. Robbins Descendants Trust” for the purpose of getting paid “directly” from the estate for “current temporary spousal support” as well as “spousal support arrears” and her attorney fees.
