New Zealand take Day 1 honours against England thanks to resilient efforts from Tom Blundell and Glenn Phillips

Despite losing their captain to Bethell’s stunner and slipping to a precarious 107/4 after Rachin Ravindra fell for 33, New Zealand staged a masterful lower-order recovery.
