England confirm fixtures for exciting 2027 home summer
At the heart of the 2027 calendar is the high-stakes quest for Ashes glory. Following a tough 4-1 defeat in Australia earlier this year, the Men’s side will look to reclaim the urn on home turf. The men’s five-Test series get underway on 18 June at Trent Bridge, before moving to Lord’s and Edgbaston. In a historic milestone, Hampshire’s Utilita Bowl (Rose Bowl) will stage a men’s Ashes Test match for the very first time as the host of the fourth Test, before the series culminates in its traditional finale at The Oval starting 29 July.
Simultaneously, England Women will mount their own multi-format Ashes campaign against Australia, kicking off on 24 June with a momentous one-off Test match at Headingley, marking the venue’s first women’s Ashes Test since 2001. Fresh off their high-octane showdown in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 Final, where Australia reigned supreme, the rivalry will escalate into three T20Is at Trent Bridge, The Oval, and Old Trafford, followed by three decisive ODIs hosted at the Utilita Bowl, Lord’s, and Edgbaston.

Beyond the Ashes drama, the ECB has confirmed that The Oval will stage the prestigious ICC World Test Championship 2027 Final from 9 to 13 June, anchoring London as the global capital of Test cricket for the second time in WTC history.
England Men will launch their summer campaign in mid-May with a five-match ODI series against Pakistan, starting at the Utilita Bowl on 15 May, before taking on Bangladesh in a rare one-off Test match at Lord’s from 28 May to 1 June. To cap off the summer and finalize preparations for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2027, England Men will host New Zealand in an extensive white-ball series throughout September, featuring three T20Is and five ODIs across the country.
