In a breathtaking display of shot-making, Samson combined traditional elegance with modern-day power, reaching his fifty in just 32 deliveries.

    Alongside Kartik Sharma, who played a perfect supporting role with a steady 41 off 31 balls, Samson dismantled the DC bowling lineup. Whether it was the raw pace of Mitchell Starc or the spin of Kuldeep Yadav, Samson had an answer for everything. The duo stitched together an unbeaten 114-run partnership for the third wicket. Samson finished on a staggering 87 off 52 balls, decorated with 7 fours and 6 massive sixes, maintaining a strike rate of 167.30.

    CSK reached the target of 159/2 in just 17.3 overs, securing two vital points and further cementing their position in the top half of the table. For Delhi, it was a night of missed opportunities and tactical lapses, as their bowlers struggled to contain a rampant Samson who looked in the form of his life.
