Greg Gutfeld just snapped at Jimmy Kimmel for complaining, stating that he makes far too much money to do so. So, what was Jimmy talking about that caused Greg to react, and did he have a legitimate reason to do so? Keep reading for more details.
Jimmy Kimmel Can Do What He Wants
Despite having his late-night talk show removed for a brief time, Jimmy Kimmel loves that he can say and do whatever he wants. He feels that there is a special freedom that comes with his job, but he does not like it when viewers try to call him out. Jimmy spoke with former First Lady Michelle Obama on her IMO podcast. While there, he fired back at those who feel he should not focus on the current administration or politics:
“First of all, don’t tell me what my job is. I don’t tell you what your job is. My job is whatever I decide my job is, whatever my employer allows me to do. That’s what my job is.”
Regardless of what faithful fans might think, Greg Gutfeld of Fox News did not agree. He spoke up and slammed Jimmy Kimmel. In his mind, Kimmel makes way too much money to have any complaints. He opened up on the Friday, April 17th episode of The Five and shared his take on what the late-night host said on the pod:
“Look, he is right. He doesn’t have to listen to criticism, but then don’t complain about it. You can do what you want and we can tell you what sucks. You get paid handsomely so take it like a man and stop blubbering.”

Greg Gutfeld then went on to encourage Jimmy Kimmel to try being a right-winger and see how hard that can be. He noted how hard that lifestyle is and also added that Jimmy is lucky. There are people who make next to nothing but do not complain in the same fashion. Greg then went back to reference the killing of Charlie Kirk, which was the hot topic that caused Jimmy’s suspension.
Real Problems, Real Issues
San Mateo, California, native Greg Gutfeld tried to point out that there are real issues and there is the minutia. However, not everyone agrees with Greg, and not everyone agrees with Jimmy Kimmel. Therefore, people can simply change the channel when they do not want to watch any longer. After Jimmy appeared on the IMO podcast, fans seemed happy to hear him and his perspective:
- This is an incredible treat! Jimmy Kimmel has given us the best comic relief in such a dark time. Thank you for your service, Truly
- Soooo much fun, and it is so refreshing to see thay Jimmy is so real on his show as he is in all platforms.
It will be interesting to see how much longer his show will go on, even with the criticism. Are you a Jimmy Kimmel fan, or are you over him? Let us know in the comments below.
