For those who need a refresher, Haylie and Rosenberg became engaged on April Fool’s Day in 2014. Years later, in 2021, Haylie opened up about the delay in tying the knot, stating that she and Rosenberg already felt connected in more ways than one.
“We feel married in a lot of ways. I mean, we couldn’t be more married if we tried,” she said. “We’ve got two kids and couldn’t be more married if we tried, but I think both of us envisioned doing it in Texas, and so now that we’re here, the conversations are happening a little more often than they were before.”

“I just probably won’t be in, like, a big wedding dress like I thought I would,” she said. “I think, like, we’re older, first of all, too, you know, both of our kids would be there. I think it’s been reimagined a little bit, which is exciting.”
In a separate interview with PEOPLE, Haylie got candid about being the opposite of her partner, Rosenberg, admitting to being “very different in a lot of ways.”
Despite that, the actress said she felt at peace with him once he bonded with her family. “… that’s when I was like, ‘Okay, so not only do I love him, but they love him too.’ And I feel like that’s the way it’s supposed to be,” she said.
