Hercule is coming soon to BritBox, and viewers are getting their first look at this iteration of the iconic Agatha Christie detective. Benji Walters is behind the series.
Edward Bluemel has been cast as Hercule Poirot for this series, and Henry Ashton, James D’Arcy, Calvin Demba, Phil Dunning, Jack Gleeson, Tamsin Greig, James Nesbitt, Guy Remmers, Rebecca Rittenhouse, and Mawaan Rizwan also appear in the drama.
BritBox shared the following about the six-episode series:
“The series, which has commenced filming in Liverpool, is an intimate study of Hercule Poirot, the man and an epic portrait of Britain between the wars. Hercule will center around three of Christie’s early stories, while also introducing Hercule Poirot to future friends and allies and one particular nemesis.”
The premiere date for Hercule will be announced later.
