Jenny Marrs of Fixer to Fabulous fame recently admitted that she wasn’t much of a jewelry person. However, during a recent emotional share, she admitted that one gift from her husband, Dave, has her rethinking that. During the share, Jenny also paid homage to her late, beloved mother-in-law.

Dave and Jenny Marrs are a husband-and-wife renovation duo from Arkansas. They are best known to many for their HGTV series, Fixer to Fabulous, which premiered in 2019.
Over the years, Dave and Jenny have shared a lot about their family. In addition to the couple’s television works, many stories have also been shared by the couple on social media.
Jenny took to Instagram to share an emotional post with fans. During the sentimental share, she took note of a necklace that Dave made for her, explaining it had a special connection to her late mother, Donna Marrs.
As Jenny explained, the Marrs family took a trip they had planned with Donna to Bayeux, Normandy. They held a candlelight vigil for her in a cathedral. At the time, the youngest of the Marrs kids, Luke, discovered a coin on the ground, giving it to Jenny.
Jenny Mused How Much Donna Navigated Her Throughout Her Life
Reflecting on her faith, Jenny shared, “This coin was a God-wink to our family as we took the trip she was supposed to have been on with us. A reminder to our heavy hearts that He sees us and He has caught every single one of our tears on this journey of loss.”
Fans have seen Jenny goes through a great transformation over the years, from marketing professional to HGTV star. She then explained in her post that her mother-in-law helped her throughout it all.
Jenny continued, “Donna taught me a lot of lessons about being an incredible person, but the one thing she modeled best for me was being an incredible momma. She loved her kids and grandkids with tenacity. And her life was a shining example of deep gratitude for getting to [love your family].”
Jenny started the post by noting that she wasn’t really a fan of jewelry. However, she felt that this piece might make her reconsider that. As she concluded her post, “As I was getting ready today, it struck me that maybe I am a jewelry person after all. Because this little bowl contains some of my most prized possessions.”
