HGTV’s Jasmine Roth Shares Two Daughters With Husband Brett, With Another Baby On The Way
Roth is a designer known for her “California Cool” aesthetic and the founder of Built Custom Homes. She has worked with a number of HGTV shows over the years, including Hidden Potential and HELP! I Wrecked My House.
In her personal life, Jasmine and her husband, Brett, married in 2013. They share two daughters together: Hazel, who was born in 2020, and Darla, who was born in 2024. Recently, the HGTV star shared that she was expecting her third child.
In a recent share during an Instagram Story, Roth shared multiple pics detailing a family emergency. This moment involved her daughter Darla’s first emergency room visit.
As Roth shared in the post, “Today was a rough one. Darla had her first ER visit and it was a LOT. She fell off the couch and hit the coffee table just right, so she had a 1/2″ indentation where her eyebrow was supposed to be.” This appeared in a caption of a photo of Darla holding onto a stuffed animal while in her hospital bed.
Roth Also Took Time To Check On Her Third Child, Which Required A Second Opinion
The post was made up of multiple images, with Roth expressing the fears going through her mind. She shared, “You guys, I’ve never seen anything like this. I was so scared for her. Hazel was screaming because she was scared, too, but we had to act fast. Poor baby cried but was so brave.”
Roth felt that it was important to use the scary moment as a learning experience. As she shared, “Just a reminder that being a parent isn’t about all the pressure we put on ourselves to make everything perfect. It’s about keeping them as safe as possible and being there for them when something goes wrong.”
Roth assured fans that Darla acted like the incident didn’t happen once the sedation wore off. As she continued, “Feeling lucky it wasn’t worse and we were able to take her home to rest and play. Sending love to all the parents who are having tough times right now. You aren’t alone.” She ended the post thanking her mother for helping to take care of Hazel during this time.
As noted by Parade, during the moment, Roth also decided to check on her condition as she is expecting her third child. She shared that doctors weren’t able to find the baby’s heartbeat. However, she wasn’t too worried, as that wasn’t their specialty. Later, she went to OB Emergency in Salt Lake, where “They immediately found a heartbeat and even did a quick ultrasound to show the baby basically doing gymnastics and I couldn’t feel a thing.”
