Scott McGillivray has been part of a number of HGTV shows. In fact, one of his shows is expected to debut its latest season very soon. In the meantime, McGillivray teased that he had a few more projects right around the corner.
One Of Scott McGillivray’s HGTV Shows Will Debut A New Season Early Next Month
McGillivray is known for a number of HGTV shows. He served as the host and executive producer of Income Property, which originally ran from 2009 to 2016.
Since then, McGillivray has been part of a number of shows, including Vacation House Rules and Renovation Resort. He also served as a judge on All American Handyman and Canada’s Handyman Challenge.
Earlier this month, HGTV shared that McGillivray and Bryan Baeumler’s Renovation Resort Showdown will return for a third season on July 1. During these episodes, as noted by TV Insider, the hosts will “challenge four talented build/design teams from across North America to transform a long-neglected lakeside resort in the Kawartha Lakes regions into the ultimate vacation destination.”
Contestants will have eight weeks with a $150,000 budget to bring their designs to life. In addition to McGillivray and Baeumler, other special guests will also serve as judges. Winners will receive a $100,000 prize.
McGillivray Called On Fans For Help, & Some Feedback, For Some Of His Upcoming Projects
In addition, McGillivray teased a few new HGTV shows currently in the works. As he shared, “It’s Scott McGillivray here, and I have some exciting news. That’s right! I am coming home to HGTV. I cannot be more excited. We have some incredible new series. We’ve got design, construction, transformation, real estate investing. It’s all coming your way.”
McGillivray also told his fans that he wants them involved. He called on them for suggestions for what they are looking for on the show. He also asked if they were interested in appearing on these shows in the future. As he shared, “So, stay tuned. More to come. I’m just so excited to be here on HGTV. We’ll see you soon!”
Taking to the comments, fans shared their reactions to the host’s share. In addition to their suggestions for the upcoming projects, some suggested more seasons of some of his other shows. Some comments included:
