horsegiirL has announced her debut album, Nature is Healing, out June 5 via RCA Records, following a guest performance during Wet Leg’s main stage Coachella set this past weekend.
The album was shaped by a turning point in late 2025, after horsegiirL stepped away from music after feeling exhausted from burnout. After traveling to Ecuador for an ayahuasca ceremony, she realized she wanted to raise awareness about humanity’s relationship with the planet.

Lead single “earth is turning,” out today on Earth Day, is a hypnotic, trippy track about nature’s resilience and the idea that the world continues despite humans inflicting harm on it.
On Nature is Healing, horsegiirL uses dance as a tool for genuine connection rather than just escapism, working with producers Nomak (Charli xcx), A.G. Cook, her close collaborator Luvhunter, and more. Across the album, horsegiirL layered different textured sounds from nature, using everything from bird calls to insect hums to represent humanity’s connection to all life on Earth.
