Summer House and In the City star Lindsay Hubbard has been known to stir the pot and then demand apologies after the fact. Her co-stars tend to align with her while also fearing what she may say. Now, one of them is speaking up about how awful she can be. Keep reading for all of the tea that was spilled.
Lindsay Hubbard Called Out For Being A Diva
There’s a reason that she is called Mother Hubbard. Lindsay Hubbard has solidified herself as the Queen Bee of In the City and Summer House. She has more than put Amanda Batula and other cast members in their place. Additionally, she has attempted to stand up to cyberbullying, but it has fallen flat based on her own behavior. She has called people out left and that has left a sour taste. Now, one of her co-stars is exposing her for dragging people, stirring the pot, but wanting apologies.
The In the City cast was at the wedding celebration dinner for Yvonne Najor and Nick Barber. Yvonne and Lindsay’s friendship has spanned over a decade as they are immensely close. However, Lindsay did not take too kindly to Danielle Olivera accusing her of trying to find dirt on people. In that moment, she had hoped that Yvonne would have backed her up. Moreover, stood up for her, but this was Yvonne’s big night, and she likely did not want to be a part of any drama. Whitney Fransway had this to say about the night and that situation:
“She’s trying to get Yvonne to apologize to her … when she’s the one who kind of caused chaos, or didn’t step in for her best friend. So, I feel like it can be a little tricky if you try to stand up to Lindsay.”
Although Lindsay Hubbard may have been tone deaf in this moment, wanting an apology, fans understood one thing. Weddings may be hard for Lindsay, as hers was called off and she is now a single mother due to her last failed romance.
Is Lindsay A Villain
Lindsay Hubbard is a lot of things, and she definitely runs Summer House, or at least she thinks she does. She has grown close to Kyle Cooke and reconnected with Carl Radke amid the ‘Scamanda’ drama. Yet, is she really a villain, or is she just playing a game? Bravo fans weighed in:
- Does Lindsay ever just take a beat to consider her role in the events that transpire? I genuinely don’t think I’ve ever seen someone so un-self aware.
- I also could see Lindsay seeing this as merely an excuse to get together and cause drama…she’s a reality TV veteran…while Yvonne actually saw it as another wedding lol
- Was Lindsay being a good friend ? No she was producing a show. Do I blame her for that ? No, Yvonne had nothing planned but a fancy dinner. Something needs to happen and Lindsay made sure of it.
