Jane Lauder, granddaughter of Estée Lauder and the former president of Clinique, has founded pet health investment firm TAW Ventures.
“After nearly three decades of leadership in the beauty industry, I’m excited to share a new chapter,” she wrote in an announcement on LinkedIn posted Friday. She described TAW Ventures as “an investment firm dedicated to advancing pet health, wellness, and longevity.”
Lauder still retains a seat on the Estée Lauder Companies board. She served as global brand director for Clinique until 2020, before becoming ELC’s executive vice president and chief data officer, a role she departed in December 2024.
TAW Ventures, which Lauder founded in January 2025, is named for Lauder’s own goldendoodle dog Thaddeus Alistair Warsh. “I’ve seen firsthand the importance of science-backed research, clinical testing, and uncompromising quality,” said Lauder.
“TAW Venture’s mission is to help Thaddeus — and all pets — live their longest, happiest, healthiest lives.”
Jane Lauder to Step Down at Estée Lauder Companies
Lauder, who currently serves as chief digital officer and executive vice president of enterprise marketing, will leave the company at the end of this year.
