The rap icon took over Yankee Stadium for his anniversary concert series and had fans losing it when he brought out fellow legends Eminem and Pharrell Williams on Saturday night. With a catalog packed with classics, Jay-Z reminded everyone why he’s really him.

Eminem & Pharrell Helped Jay-Z Turn Up Yankees Stadium
Jay-Z turned the Bronx all the way up during the second night of his 30th anniversary celebration, honoring his 2001 album ‘The Blueprint’ with a night full of nostalgia and star power. The night kicked off with ‘The Ruler’s Back,’ before the surprises started rolling in. Eminem hit the stage to join Jay-Z for their iconic ‘Renegade’ collaboration, then he had the crowd going crazy with ‘Lose Yourself.’ Pharrell Williams also popped out and linked back up with Jay-Z for fan-favorite tracks like ‘Frontin’,’ ‘I Just Wanna Love U (Give It 2 Me),’ and ‘I Know,’ with the two even showing off their dance moves. The legendary link-ups had fans celebrating a moment that only Jay-Z could put together.
Fans Said Jay-Z Understood The Assignment
Folks ran straight to The Shade Room’s Instagram comment section and were absolutely living after seeing Jay-Z’s star-studded anniversary celebration. Some claimed it was the best concert they had ever been to, while others couldn’t believe Eminem stepped outside for anyone other than Dr. Dre and his grandbaby. Meanwhile, plenty of fans were soaking up the nostalgia and celebrating the legendary hip-hop moments that had them feeling like they were back in another era.

But Jay-Z wasn’t done bringing out major names during his 30th anniversary celebration. The rap icon reunited with Alicia Keys at Yankee Stadium on July 10 for a powerful performance of their New York anthem ‘Empire State of Mind,’ sending the hometown crowd into a frenzy during the opening night of the JAŸ-Z30 concert series. Alicia Keys also gave fans a special behind-the-scenes moment when she shared a photo with Blue Ivy Carter, who recently joined her father on Friday night for a piano performance of ‘Feelin’ It.’
