President Trump announced several new initiatives this week. One of his plans left Joy Behar in fear. She said that she’s afraid Americans will “die” after his shocking latest actions. Keep reading to find out more about what’s going on.
President Trump Announces Shocking New Partnership
President Trump has been busy this week. After returning from an official visit to China, he announced several new actions. The Department of Justice revealed that the President had settled his lawsuit against the IRS with the stipulation that a $1.776 billion fund be created to compensate victims of wrongful persecution by the government.
The President teamed up with a longtime foe for a press conference about a shocking new healthcare initiative. President Trump launched the prescription drug platform, TrumpRx, earlier this year. Billionaire Mark Cuban joined him at a press conference on May 18 to announce that the platform now includes over 600 generic medications at a lower cost.
The collaboration is somewhat shocking given that Mark Cuban has been an outspoken critic of Trump’s for years. The online pharmacy Mark Cuban Cost Plus Drugs launched in 2022. It offers low-cost prescriptions. TrumpRx doesn’t sell prescriptions outright, but redirects to low-cost online pharmacies, which now includes Mark Cuban Cost Plus Drugs.
Joy Behar Fears Americans Will ‘Die’ After Trump’s Latest Actions
The View hosts have been outspoken critics of President Trump, but Joy Behar is the most outspoken. The President’s latest move sparked a heated discussion on the ABC talk show. Joy Behar had strong feelings about TrumpRx. “Once Trump puts his name on prescriptions, we’re all gonna die,” she said.

But not all of her co-hosts agreed with her. Alyssa Farah Griffin, who just welcomed a baby in February, said, “The medication that I had to take for IVF is a 10th of the price on TrumpRx.”
She added that many Americans struggle to afford medications they need to survive. “The average family, one-third of Americans, cut back on essential foods and utilities to be able to cover their prescription drug costs. You’re not gonna convince me that just because Trump’s involved, we should be like, ‘Screw it. Don’t bring down prescription drugs costs.’”
Sara Haines also supported TrumpRx. Meanwhile, Joy Behar and Sunny Hostin both agreed that the venture was a bad idea. Sunny Hostin said there’s “something in it” for President Trump. “He’s not a well-intentioned person. He is not doing this out of the goodness of his heart. He’s doing this to make money,” she told Sara Haines.

“You are so naive, the two of you,” Joy Behar said to Sara Haines and Alyssa Farah Griffin.
Whoopi Goldberg was mostly silent during the discussion but warned Americans to be “cautious” of TrumpRx. “We’ll see how it works and if it works for y’all, do it. If it doesn’t, keep it moving,” she said.
The View Host Has Harsh Words For Mark Cuban
Joy Behar didn’t mince words when discussing Mark Cuban’s role in the prescription platform. “First of all, you lie down with dogs, you wake up with fleas. Mark Cuban. I’ve always liked him, but this is a mistake,” she said.
The View host mentioned several of President Trump’s other failed business ventures. “He put his name on the Trump shuttle, the Trump vodka, the Trump University, Trump Hotel, and my favorite, the casinos that all went bankrupt… Don’t go there, Mark,” Joy Behar warned.
Lowering the cost of medications is something most Americans agree with. However, Joy Behar seemingly disagrees with anything President Trump does. Share your reaction to her stance in the comments.
