A year ago, the world lost musical legend Ozzy Osbourne. But, more than that, his family lost a husband and a father. Ozzy was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, which he kept private for a while before finally sharing the news with the world. Because of his disease, he stopped touring in 2019 before passing in 2025. However, just weeks before his death, he teamed up with Black Sabbath one last time to leave his final impression and music with the world.
One year later, his wife, Sharon Osbourne, is telling fans how he would want to be remembered. Of course, it’s by playing music loudly and headbanging.
“As Ozzy would say, ‘When you want to remember me, just yank up the music really loud, as loud as you can get it, and just head bang.’”
Sharon isn’t the only one talking about Ozzy on the anniversary of his death. His daughter, Kelly, also went online to talk about her father. However, fans aren’t taking her approach well.
Kelly Osbourne Makes It About Her?
Kelly decided to take to social media to share an inside look at the grief she has felt since losing her father. While this may seem like a passionate way to express herself, some haters aren’t seeing it like that at all. Instead, they are bashing her online. Many say that she has somehow made her father’s death more about her own feelings than about his legacy.
“Most people understand Kelly is sharing her own experience, but some online critics believe every anniversary post becomes centered on her emotions rather than Ozzy’s extraordinary legacy. That’s where the trolling is coming from,” a source says, according to Radar Online.
So, what’s in the post? It’s simply a picture of text titled “What I’ve Come to Know About Grief in the Last Year!”
The 41-year-old writes about how her father’s death totally changed her life.
She starts off the post by writing, “I don’t just mourn the father I lost. I mourn the soul I was before death taught my heart its own name.”
That line alone is what has some people questioning her motive behind the text.
“Supporters see a daughter processing unimaginable loss, while detractors accuse her of making herself the focus. It’s become an unfortunate pattern every time she speaks publicly about her father,” another source explains.
