Birthdays are a big thing in the Kardashian-Jenner family, and they go all out. They are lavish and large, but when Khloe Kardashian turned 42, it was just a gathering. There was a lot of love and even an appearance by Rob Kardashian. He had been relatively low-key, but fans had missed him and hoped he would come around more. That was huge, and he even posed with his sisters, his daughter, and his mother for a family photo. However, fans spotted one of Khloe’s exes in her photo dump, and they were less than thrilled by what they saw.
She was posing with Tristan Thompson and their two children, True and Tatum. They were beaming as Khloe donned a silky orange dress and Tristan wore all black with matching shades. In the comments, fans and followers were so happy to see Rob, which they stressed. At the same time, they stated that the photo dump was ruined by Tristan:

Khloe Kardashian did not take the comment lying down. She quickly hopped in and clapped back at those who thought he should not be there:

Does It Matter?
At the end of the day, does it matter who Khloe Kardashian invites to her birthday party? If she and Tristan Thompson can successfully co-parent, that should be a good thing. Furthermore, if she can have a party where he is well received, that should not be an issue. Still, fans struggled with seeing him celebrate:
