Another stalker was able to get into her New York City apartment and sleep in her bed before he was arrested. However, she’s hardly the first celebrity to be stalked. Up-and-coming actress Rebecca Schaeffer was shot and killed by a stalker in 1989.
And it’s not just female celebrities. John Lennon, the legendary singer of The Beatles, was killed by a fan who he had signed an autograph for hours earlier. Mark David Chapman is still in prison and has been repeatedly denied parole for the murder.
Kris Jenner Takes Action Against Kylie-Obsessed Stalker
Some people disregard stalkers as part of being a celebrity. However, stalking can turn into life-or-death danger. Kris Jenner is determined not to let anyone in her family be injured or worse at the hands of a stalker.
The momager went to court to see a restraining order against a man she says is obsessed with her family. Kyle Robert DeWick is allegedly fixated on Kylie Jenner especially.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, she claimed that the man, who is from Colorado, has shown up on or near their property on several occasions. He showed up at Kylie Jenner’s house several times in 2021, claiming that Kris Jenner encouraged him to propose to her daughter.
Kylie Jenner has been dating actor Timothée Chalamet since 2013. Before that, she was in a long-term relationship with rapper Travis Scott, who is the father of her two children.
Kris Jenner made a court plea for a restraining order against the alleged stalker. The request demands that he stop contacting the family and is banned from coming within 100 yards of herself, Kylie, or any of her other children.
