Luis Diaz and Michael Olise scored in the 89th and 94th minute to send Bayern Munich to the Champions League semi-finals after a sensational 6-4 aggregate win over Real Madrid.
The former Premier League duo netted two stunners in the closing stages shortly after Edouardo Camavinga’s red card, with Real having got themselves back in the tie in what was a thrilling Champions League encounter.
Trailing 2-1 from the first leg, Arda Guler had twice levelled the tie with two early stunners, but both goals were cancelled out by Aleksandar Pavlovic and Harry Kane before Kylian Mbappe made it 3-3 in the tie before half-time.
But as the game headed to extra-time, Bayern took full advantage of Camavinga’s red card to turn the game around on the night in the last few minutes with a 4-3 win which sends them through to the final four as 6-4 aggregate winners.
Goals galore in breathless first half
Real Madrid made a stunning start in Munich, levelling the tie inside 45 seconds as Guler punished a costly mistake from Manuel Neuer. The Bayern goalkeeper’s misplaced pass went straight to the Turkish midfielder, who struck first time from around 35 yards into an empty net.
The early goal wiped out Bayern’s first-leg advantage and handed Real immediate momentum, with Guler’s finish as emphatic as Neuer’s error was uncharacteristic. It was a dramatic opening that briefly stunned the Allianz Arena.
Bayern, however, responded almost instantly and restored their lead in the tie just minutes later. Joshua Kimmich’s dangerous corner exposed uncertainty in the Real defence, with Andriy Lunin failing to come and claim.
Pavlovic was left with a simple header from close range, nodding home to put Bayern back in front on aggregate and cap a breathless opening spell.
Kylian Mbappe went close as Real looked to hit back, but Bayern remained a huge threat too with Michael Olise and Kane causing plenty of issues.
Real got a free-kick on the edge of the box and, with all eyes on Trent Alexander-Arnold, Guler was the man to take it and he curled another beauty into the top corner which Neuer failed to keep out.
Bayern had struggled to show the same dominance they had at the Bernabeu last week but were still dangerous, which Kane proved when he made it 2-2 in the 37th minute.
The England captain latched onto a through ball from Dayot Upamecano after a positive drive forward and he made no mistake with the finish, stroking the ball into the net for his 50th goal of the season.
An exciting blend of attackers on both sides continued to make this a sensational game for the neutrals, with lovely ball releasing Vinicius Junior who grazed the top of the crossbar.
And Real went level in the tie once again as a loose Kane touch allowed Bellingham to play Vini Jr in down the left, before the Brazilian brilliantly found Mbappe, who slotted home to astonishingly make it 4-4 in the tie.

It felt likely to be more of the same in the second half and the opening moments after the break seemed to confirm that as Luis Diaz saw a shot deflect off Bellingham and wide before Upamecano headed over.
Up the other end, an incredible cross from Alexander-Arnold picked out Mbappe, who volleyed the ball first time but, this time, Neuer pulled out a magnificent save from point-blank range.
Mbappe then carved out a brilliant chance with 20 minutes to go but Vini Jr mis-hit his effort after a lay-off by his tea-mate and it was cleared away, before Upamecano missed another close-range header for Bayern – not for the first time in this tie.
Olise went close twice after cutting inside and hitting his trademark strike with his left foot, but in nearky identical efforts they just grazed the roof of the net rather than going under the bar.
Real were down to 10 men with just five minutes to play when substitute Camavinga – only roughly 10 minutes after coming on – ran with the ball after the whistle before picking the ball up for his second yellow card in a huge blow for the visitors.
Their misery was immediately compounded when at the next phase of play, Diaz combined with Jamal Musiala before curling an effort into the top corner from arguably the exact position Camavinga should have been in to make the block.
And the game was secured a few minutes later and it was another stunning goal on a night full of them as Olise finally found success by cutting in on his left and sending a brilliant strike into the back of the net in what was a fitting last kick of a simply breathtaking encounter.
