Actress Lori Loughlin recently got fans talking during a recent appearance with a brand new hairstyle. Since then, she had been the subject of rumors claiming that she was wearing a wig. However, someone close to the story recently weighed in on the rumors: her own stylist.

As an actress, Loughlin first became known to many playing Rebecca Donaldson Katsopolis, or “Aunt Becky,” on the sitcom, Full House. She later reprised the role in the Netflix sequel series, Fuller House. In recent years, she has also become known for portraying Abigail Stanton on When Calls the Heart.
Recently, Loughlin stepped out with a new layered bob and bangs on April 16, complete with a silver dress. She was attending the Los Angeles County Museum of Art Opening Gala for the David Geffen Galleries. She was alongside her daughter, Olivia Jade Giannulli.
However, the appearance sparked rumors that the Full House star was wearing a wig. This even popped up on Us Weekly‘s coverage of the story as it was shared on social media.
The Star’s Hairstylist Also Shared A Photo Of Loughlin Back In March
That said, the actress ended up getting defended by someone close to the story: her own hairstylist, David Robert Naumann. During Us Weekly’s aforementioned coverage, a user wrote, “Cute- but it’s a wig.”
This inspired Naumann to reply, “It’s not a wig 😉 I’d know,” complete with a heart emoji.
According to People, Naumann also came to Loughlin’s defense during an Instagram Story. He shared the same post, writing, “Chop chop for Lori yesterday,” complete with a scissors emoji.
Naumann had also shared an image of the actress a few weeks prior, where she sported longer locks. Sharing an image of the star, he wrote, “Always so nice working with this beautiful woman, Lori Loughlin. Did a soft effortless vibe with some extra Inches for this carpet.” Celebrity Makeup Artist Lyndsay Zavitz was also credited with doing Loughlin’s makeup at the time.
With Loughlin’s recent appearance, fans have also been sharing their reactions. A few fans even shared other stars her new look reminded them of. Some comments included:
