Jessica Shannon Finds New Love
When Jessica Shannon first started living with Shyann McCant, she acted like they were friends and roommates. She was unsure how everyone would feel about her being with a woman. Then, she shared the news with her sisters and Mama June, who were very supportive of her sexuality. However, June was not so happy with her choice of partners. She did not care for Shyann as she felt that she was controlling, but the two went on to get engaged and tied the knot in September 2025. Their Florida nuptials were filmed for the family’s WeTV series.
However, it came out that they slept with Jessica’s sister, Pumpkin Efird’s ex-husband, Josh. It was not romantic but rather an attempt to have a baby, something they had discussed for a while. Not long after this episode aired, the couple split, and Jessica filed for divorce from Shyann in July 2026. Rumors flew that Shyann had been unfaithful throughout the marriage, which turned out to be true. Their divorce was finalized on August 27th, and now Jessica has a new girlfriend. She shared a snap with two arms intertwined while driving. In the caption, she wrote:

Of course, Mama June fans and followers were stunned at how quickly she had moved on. At the same time, Shyann has had a new girlfriend for a while, so this was nothing in comparison. Many were thrilled that she was happy but wished she had given more, like a name or a face, but that will come in time.

Right now, Jessica Shannon seems to be enjoying her new partner and does not feel the need to spill all the tea. Likely, Mama June will do that for her sooner rather than later.
