Swift and Kelce started dating in 2023, with media hailing them as a “supercouple.” The two later became engaged this past August, with fans wondering what would happen next for the couple over the ensuing months.
News recently came out that the couple married on July 3, 2026, at Madison Square Garden in Manhattan. Notably, the couple did not publicize any details of what happened until after they were married. The event proved to be a star-studded one, with Paul McCartney, Stevie Nicks, Ciara, and Fergie serenading the couple and Adam Sandler officiating the ceremony.
A few days before the wedding was announced, the wedding was a topic of discussion on Megyn Kelly’s podcast. At the time, she spoke with Daily Mail columnist and author Maureen Callahan.
During the discussion, the two mentioned famous guests flying in to attend the wedding, with them musing if they were double-guessing the date and wondering if the famous couple had already married beforehand.

Commenting on the event, Callahan expressed, “I think Taylor Swift is a malignant narcissist. Only a malignant narcissist mounts her wedding at MSG.”
Kelly then wondered if everything was just a distraction. As she questioned, “Is there any chance we’re being head fake, Maureen? And like all of this is bulls–t and they’re going to be heading off to like some island like JFK Jr.?” It was then that Callahan mused, “The only thing I can think that might be a head fake is that they might already be legally married.”
Viewers weighed in on the commentary. Many came to Swift’s defense, pointing out that she may have had her reasons to host such a lavish and private event. That said, others agreed with Kelly and Callahan’s points. Some comments included:
