After being asked to bat first, Washington Freedom piled up a daunting 245/5 in 20 overs, thanks largely to a breathtaking 155 from Mitchell Owen, who was deservedly named Player of the Match.
The innings began steadily with Steve Smith contributing 27 from 21 deliveries, but it was Owen who transformed the contest into a run-fest.
