The new U.S trailer for the neo Giallo thriller from director Nicolas Winding Refn, Her Private Hell, has just been released online by Neon Pictures.
It stars Sophie Thatcher alongside Charles Melton, Kristine Froseth, Havana Rose Liu and Diego Calva. The film’s synopsis says that a mysterious mist engulfs a futuristic metropolis, unleashing a deadly, elusive entity. Soon, a heinous killer known as Leather Man goes around the city taking the lives of women, and a troubled young woman searching for her father collides with an American GI on a harrowing odyssey to rescue his daughter from Hell. It will be Refn’s first feature film after a ten-year sabbatical from directing movies. His last feature was The Neon Demon, a body-horror acid trip starring Elle Fanning that debuted at Cannes in 2016.

It will be released in September in the UK, following its premiere at the Cannes Film Festival last month. The film has generated a lot of critical discussion since its first showings, emerging as one of the most talked-about upcoming titles, widely credited for its bold vision and uncompromising style.
Her Private Hell will be released in UK and Irish cinemas by MUBI on September 25th. Neon will release the film in the U.S on 24th July.
