Now, after fifteen seasons, RHOBH co-star Dorit Kemsley claims that Kyle controls the cast and “has the power to get anyone off the show.” So, is that true, or is she just angry with the fallout from their friendship? Kyle Is In A Power Position
After fifteen seasons, Kyle Richards is now the longest-running RHOBH cast member. She has lost friendships, and she has gained them, but this season, it seemed she was laser-focused on one person. Kyle met Dorit Kemsley in Season 7 through Lisa Vanderpump and Ken Todd. They instantly connected and always had a great time, but did have some hiccups along the way. When Teddi Mellencamp came into the picture, Dorit did feel brushed aside. The same happened with Morgan Wade, but now, Dorit is struggling as she is going through a divorce. It has caused her to lash out some, and Kyle claimed she is concerned, but Dorit feels she is just talking behind her back.
Erika Jayne, who was also close to Dorit, has followed Kyle’s lead, and that has broken Dorit’s heart. In the reunion promo, Dorit says this about Kyle:
“She has the power to get anyone off the show.”
This is very reminiscent of the cast noting how Kyle Richards’ sister, Kathy Hilton, could get anyone blacklisted in Hollywood. After Dorit made this comment about having such power, fans wondered if there was any truth to it. An insider shared that she does have some power, and that is why Sutton Stracke and Erika Jayne have been sucking up to her:
“What Dorit’s saying about Kyle having influence on people’s positions on the show is true. People are finally starting to figure out that’s why Sutton and Erika are always kissing up to her. They don’t agree with her and everything she says. It’s more that they’re afraid of her.”
Secret Producer
Allegedly, Kyle Richards is an unspoken producer for RHOBH. No one talks about it, but Dorit Kemsley has made it known. Since she decided not to hold back, it has caused ripples all over the show. The insider wants viewers to look back on other cast members who interacted with Kyle and maybe did not have the best time. Where are they now? She had a strained relationship with Garcelle Beauvais, and she quit while Crystal Kung Minkoff was fired.
Lisa Rinna allegedly quit after a bad interaction with Kathy Hilton and has refused to ever come back. After fans learned about the “power” Kyle allegedly has, they weighed in:
- It is well known that officially or unofficially she she has a lot of power (and she abuses it).
- Its absolutely true. And it is also why the show has been so inauthentic and bad. No one is being real because they are taking Kyle’s lead for fear they will be fired.
