Fans are thrilled for The Real Housewives of New Jersey to come back, as it has been two years. Season 15 was not taken lightly, and the cast was carefully selected. Unfortunately, it appears that the faithful Bravo viewers may be headed for disappointment with the new season of RHONJ. Keep reading for more details on what has gone wrong.
RHONJ Is Not What Anyone Expected
After all of the hype, time, and excitement, there are a lot of expectations regarding Season 15 of RHONJ. This makes sense as Andy Cohen and Bravo made a big deal out of the casting. They stated that there may be a full reboot or some of the OGs may return. At the same time, Melissa Gorga and Teresa Giudice were at each other’s throats, leading to the pause. Therefore, it was unclear if either one would be back. Fans chimed in as to who they wanted to see return, and it was split down the middle.
Luckily, the two ended up reconciling, as did their families, and both ladies were brought back for Season 15. To round out the Season 15 OGs was Dolores Catania, who works well with Teresa and Melissa. Unfortunately, things are not going as Bravo had expected, and this may lead to a shortened season. There are 6 newbies on the show, but that does not seem to matter as they are not bringing in the spice or the drama. Per an insider, it is all pretty dull and lackluster:
“Filming is not going well. Nothing has really gone on. There hasn’t been any drama, and it’s been relatively boring.”
As of now, there is likely to be just 10 episodes in the season, but Season 14 just had 14, whereas Season 13 had 19. Allegedly, the RHONJ are finding various locales to film, but are being leaked. Regardless, they are just basic vacations, and nothing noteworthy happens. Fans have stated that the casting is all wrong, and some ladies should have been brought back:
- If they would’ve brought Marge back and axed Teresa, I would have watched
- Bravo made a yuge mistake not bringing Margaret back. They will live to regret that decision.
Will One Storyline Make The Show?
Teresa Giudice’s daughter, Milania Giudice, was arrested for assault, and viewers want to know if that will make it onto Season 15. These girls have grown up on RHONJ, so fans think everything should play out on television. As of now, it is unclear what will air and what will hit the cutting room floor. However, many just believe that having Teresa on the show was in poor taste:
- My only two Bravo shows are Jersey and Southern Charm. But with Tre back, I’m out!
- This isn’t surprising at all. Choosing Teresa over Marge was never going to work; they already did a rebuild of the show around Teresa once, and it’s time to move on from her, at least for a while.
- I cannot say that I am shocked.
- Good! The self proclaimed “queen of jersey” will have to start finding other scams to earn money.
