The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City has just wrapped up Season 7. It has already been highly eventful, and viewers know some of what is to come. At the same time, with the RHOSLC ladies, expect the unexpected. That being said, Lisa Barlow took the time to reveal who the real star of the show is. Keep reading for more details.
Lisa Barlow Admits She Is Not The Main Star
Next to RHORI, Bravo fans are obsessed with RHOSLC. It brings all of the feels and a lot of drama. They have held steady with the same cast, bringing in a few newbies here and there. However, the formula that they have works, and the network knows that. Lisa Barlow is hit or miss, but she keeps people constantly talking. Recently, she called out co-star Bronwyn Newport for lying, something fans have picked up on. Yet, Lisa is no angel, but that has what has kept her a hot ticket for seven seasons.
The new season will feature the grief over Mary Cosby’s son, Robert, passing away. That happened in February 2026 and hit all of the women very hard. Of course, so much more happened to make up the season, yet Lisa is revealing who the real star is. It is none other than Salt Lake City. Lisa Barlow admitted that she loves it so much, which is beautiful to learn. There have been so many places that the Real Housewives have gone to. However, Lisa gushed over Salt Lake:
“I always say she’s that girl … And the city has always been the star [of the show]. It’s such a magical city. It’s an underground treasure. I think we’ve exposed it, but she’s amazing.”
At the same time, Lisa shared that Season 7 of RHOSLC is something so different, as if the show has been rejuvenated. She noted that the season goes more in-depth with who the women are. Now, it is unclear if that is a result of Robert’s passing, making the season more emotional. Regardless, it seems to work.
Everyone Is Ready
RHOSLC fans are always ready for the show to return, and this is no different. After Lisa Barlow spoke about it, followers immediately chimed in with their thoughts, and they were not great. Many did not care for anything individualized. Although Lisa seemed to love the idea of getting to know her as a person, that was not what the show is about:

- But the group dynamic is what makes the show …
- Ugh. We watch for the group.
However, one fan noted that Lisa is not a part of the editing process, so she has no idea how the show will ultimately turn out.
