After the New York Knicks completed the greatest comeback in NBA Finals history against the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday, June 10, fans poured into the streets of New York City to celebrate — Rihanna and A$AP Rocky included.

Dozens of videos posted to social media after Game 4 of the 2026 NBA Finals shows the A-list couple partying with the people as delirious fans climbed street poles, disrupted traffic and continued to imbibe on their beverages of choice.

In the videos, Rihanna, 38, could be seen attempting to shoot a basketball at an orange and blue hoop, set up somewhere on the Manhattan sidewalks. She missed her first two attempts before sinking her third as the crowd chanted, “Let’s go RiRi.”

A$AP Rocky, 37, rebounded her second miss and bricked a put-back of his own, perhaps attempting a tribute to Knicks star OG Anunoby, but falling more into Josh Hart territory instead.

San Antonio Spurs star Victor Wembanyama is encouraging fans not to physically assault one another because of their NBA Finals rooting interests. Wembanyama, 22, was asked during a Tuesday, June 9 press conference about videos circulating on social media appearing to show New York Knicks fans beating up Spurs fans on the streets of New […]

Hart, 31, almost etched his name in Knicks infamy on Wednesday, missing a breakaway layup with his team down a point and two minutes remaining. That will ultimately be forgotten, however, thanks to Anunoby’s put-back off a missed Jalen Brunson three with two seconds left.

The Knicks trailed by 27 points at halftime and by 29 points in the third quarter before storming back to win, 107-106, and take a 3-1 lead in the best-of-seven Finals. New York is now one win away from its first championship since 1973.

“It’s unbelievable,” Knicks head coach Mike Brown told reporters after the game. “You know, the tip, how he had to control it and tip it in, and then like I said, you know, that has to be the most iconic shot in the history of New York basketball.”

He added, “You have to have a little luck in life. You’ve got to have a little luck in sports. But you can also make your luck too. So you’ve got to have some natural luck and some luck where you’re going to make your own luck, and that was probably the biggest message.”

New York Knicks player Jose Alvarado nearly knocked out former NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg during Game 3 of the 2026 NBA Finals. The Knicks point guard, 28, collided with the politician, 84, in a scary moment during the fourth quarter of the all-important game at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Monday, June […]

Anunoby, 28, credited the team as a whole for battling back in a comeback for the ages.

“We’re a resilient group. We’ve been through a lot. We’ve come back plenty of times when we’re behind,” he said. “Just staying with it, weathering the storm, not being too down or angry or frustrated. Just staying with it, cut down to 18, cut it down to six, push it through. It’s a 48-minute game, just play ’til the end.”

The series now shifts back to San Antonio for Game 5 on Saturday night. If the Knicks win, you could expect more mayhem in Manhattan with more celebrities mingling with Knickerbocker Nation.
