Rosie O’Donnell Reveals Secret Facelift
Rosie O’Donnell spent the late 1990s as the “Queen of Nice” on her daytime talk show. The Rosie O’Donnell Show went off the air in 2002. She joined ABC’s The View in 2006, where she definitely didn’t play nice. Her on-air blow-up with Elisabeth Hasselbeck is still talked about today.
She hasn’t been seen much since leaving her second stint at The View in 2015. She moved to Ireland in 2025 amid a feud with President Trump. However, she keeps fans updated with her life on social media. She shared a shocking revelation in a Substack post: The comedian, 64, secretly had a facelift in January.
The actress began the post by sharing that she had always been against facelifts and thought she would never get one. However, her feelings changed after she lost a massive amount of weight. “I thought it was a betrayal. Of feminism. Of aging … And then I lost 50 pounds,” Rosie O’Donnell confessed.
She began to secretly research lower deep plane facelifts but was caught by her youngest child, Clay. Her daughter strongly disagreed with the procedure, telling her mom that young girls look up to her. Clay even went so far as to tell her mother that she wouldn’t be able to respect her if she did.
However, Rosie O’Donnell took that as more reason to do it. She explained, “I want them to grow up in a world where they don’t feel like they have to change but also knows they can, if they want to, without losing moral standing in their own life.”
The comedian has five children. She adopted Clay with her ex-wife, Michelle Rounds. Rosie O’Donnell shares four other children with her first ex-wife, Kelli Carpenter: Parker, 31, Chelsea, 28, Blake, 26, and Vivienne, 23.
