However, he recently took to social media with a throwback to highlight a past project with fans. He also showed off his own little partner-in-crime of sorts, his niece, in a story that touched the hearts of many fans.
Ryan Seacrest Recently Showed Off A Project Outside Of Television
Seacrest is known for his hosting duties with a number of shows. In 2002, he served as a presenter on American Idol, a role he maintains to this day. In 2024, he also took over for Pat Sajak on Wheel of Fortune. He is also known for his work with radio, such as On Air with Ryan Seacrest.
Recently, Seacrest took to social media to discuss a past project with fans. Standing alongside him was his niece, Flora Marie, the daughter of his sister, Meredith Seacrest Leach.
Seacrest shared, “With all the graduations and moving-up ceremonies this time of year, we’ve been thinking a lot about how fast kids grow and how exciting it is watching them discover what they’re capable of. Flora’s already solving math problems that completely humble us.”
It was then that Seacrest also showed off one of his projects outside of television: “That sense of confidence, curiosity, and dreaming big is what our book, The Make Believers, is all about.” The Make Believers is a book written by both Seacrest and his sister Meredith.
As noted by TV Insider, the children’s book, which was originally published in 2024, revolves around children playing make-believe games. Reportedly, it was inspired by the Seacrest siblings’ own imagination games from their younger days.
Many Fans Appreciated Seeing The Touching Scene Between Uncle & Niece
The carousel post opened up with the uncle and niece holding up copies of the book. This was followed by an image of Flora showing off math equations she had worked on. The post ended with Ryan giving Flora a kiss.
Ryan also ended the post with a message aimed at many other young people throughout the world, calling on them not to give up their own imagination. He shared, “Cheers to the class of 2026! Never stop make believing.”
Taking to the comments, fans shared their reactions to the post. Some were already fans of the book. Many, however, just wanted to comment how sweet it was to see Ryan with his niece. Some comments included:
