Shannon Is Picking Herself Back Up
When viewers met Shannon Beador in Season 9 of RHOC, she had it all. A large home with a basketball court, a hardworking husband, and three daughters. Then, her world came crashing down, and she found herself divorced. She had to rebuild, and it was not easy. Shannon tried to start businesses, the first being healthy pre-packaged meals. Then, she had a healthy drink, but after her DUI, that was no longer happening. Fortunately, she and Vicki Gunvalson had their Dos Amigas tour, and she has her orange to hold on to.
After all that she has been through financially, Shannon is finally getting smart and paying attention to her money. Shannon already had to pay back a $75K loan to her ex-boyfriend. She also admitted she is not ignoring things and that Vicki Gunvalson, who is back for Season 20, has been extremely helpful:
“I just need to pay attention to things and, you know, Victoria loves to get involved with that, so she’s been very helpful, and I’m just trying to be smarter. At 62, I’m finally learning.”
Vicki has always emphasized how women need to work and that they need to be self-sufficient. Any time she has met a new female cast member, she has asked about their job or resume. However, all that mattered when she met Shannon Beador was her star sign. Fortunately, Shannon is a new woman, and she is doing her best to get along with everyone this season:
“We’re all filming together. I can be in a room. I can share a laugh. I said that last year, but let’s just keep it there. And I’m not trying to be an a**hole about it. It’s just what’s best for me.”
No More Help From David
RHOC fans are seeing that Shannon Beador now has to truly take care of herself. She did receive a one-time $1.4 million payment from David Beador plus $10K a month. Now, her three daughters, Adeline, Stella, and Sophie, are grown, and she is likely getting nothing. Therefore, making her own cash is crucial. Viewers made sure to point this out:
- I guess she isn’t living off of that child support any longer.
