The Dessens settle into life in a seemingly safe world, only for their peace to be upended by Daniela’s growing paranoia and Blair’s efforts to stop them.

Based on Blake Crouch’s novel of the same name, Dark Matter was created by Crouch and stars Joel Edgerton (Train Dreams), Jennifer Connelly (Snowpiercer), Alice Braga (Queen of the South), Jimmi Simpson (Westworld), Dayo Okeniyi (The Hunger Games) and Montreal’s Amanda Brugel (The Handmaid’s Tale).

Adults was created by The Tonight Show‘s Ben Kronengold and Rebecca Shaw and stars Calgary’s Malik Elassal (Joe Pickett), Lucy Freyer (Paint), Toronto’s Jack Innanen (Big Mistakes), Amita Rao (Deli Boys) and Owen Thiele (Overcompensating). It’s also worth noting the series was filmed in Toronto.

Countdown to Avengers: Doomsday Official Podcast [Disney+ Original]

In this podcast series, Markham, Ont.’s own Iman Vellani (Ms. Marvel) and Frank Alvarez (The Basement Yard) rewatch and discuss key Marvel movies in the lead-up to December’s Avengers: Doomsday. The five movies covered are The Avengers, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame.

Normal was directed by Ben Wheatley (Rebecca) and stars Bob Odenkirk (Better Call Saul), Henry Winkler (Happy Days), Lena Headey (Game of Thrones), Winnipeg’s Reena Jolly (Channel Zero), Cape Breton’s Billy MacLellan (Pretty Hard Cases) and Comox Valley, B.C.’s Brendan Fletcher (Caitlin’s Way). The film was shot in Winnipeg.
