Taylor Swift is part of the democratic party. She does not like republican leaders. However, this is something she has always been open and honest about. Even when she has been advised not to say anything about politics, she doesn’t listen. This is because she knows she has a strong voice that people listen to. So, she speaks up for what she believes in time and time again. While some don’t agree with her, they appreciate her honesty.
She Removes Songs From TikTok as Trump Uses Them
Donald Trump and his team used Taylor Swift’s song “August” on TikTok. It was a video of him and Melania Trump watching fireworks. They also made a Spotify playlist with artworks that say things like:
“Did you know Taylor Swift wrote a whole album about the color of the Republican Party.”
The team knew what they were doing from the start. They captioned the TikTok:
“I’m sure @Taylor Swift is going to be super excited we used her song!”
His team has used some of her songs before, such as “Father Figure” and “Opalite”. However, now her audio is not available on TikTok. She took it down because she does not want it being used for his campaign.

It seems as though Taylor did not want Trump using her song for his campaign. A lot of people do not blame her for this. However, the two do not care for each other, and this has been made obvious several times. She is going to keep taking her music away if this continues to happen. However, people would not be surprised if Donald and his team do this again with a different song.
