Before writing this album, Tenille says she felt “lost and confused” about what she wanted to create musically and had been dealing with some personal challenges. The process of making The Acrobat became the healing she needed. When she put the album’s vinyl edition up for pre-order, she was shocked by how many fans showed up to support her. “It does feel like I made this record on my own,” she says. “And I’m kinda jumping out into this… I dunno, it’s like a leap without a safety net…but I feel so far from alone.”
A little courage, a lot of music, and a loyal dog. That’s sometimes all it takes to find your way back.
