Tesla is recalling a subset of its rear-wheel drive (RWD) Cybertruck Long Range models due to faulty brake rotors that could cause the wheels to fall off.

The recall was issued for 173 vehicles, which feature 18-inch steel wheels, late last month due to visible holes in the rotor that “may crack and allow the stud to separate from the wheel hub,” according to the recall notice put out by the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).

Tesla’s report indicated that while there have been no incidents of wheel separation or loss of function, it notes that “under continued use and strain, the wheel stud could eventually separate from the wheel hub on affected vehicles.”

According to Wired, the recall covers a portion of Cybertrucks that were built with the wrong grease on the lug nuts used to hold the wheel to the brake rotor.

While no one has been injured due to the issue, this is the 11th recall the $139,000 truck has seen, following issues involving the accelerator, cameras and trim.

Tesla says the removal and replacement of front and rear brake rotors, hubs, and lug nuts will be free of charge.
