Jax Taylor Has Been Sober For Over A Year
During his time on Vanderpump Rules, Jax Taylor had an explosive temper. He would lash out at his employers, friends, and partners. Moreover, he would drink to excess, cheat, lie, and steal, eventually exiting after Season 8. It is unclear if he and his now-estranged wife, Brittany Cartwright, were let go from the series. Regardless, they were ultimately cast on the spinoff, The Valley, but it showcased the crumbling of their marriage. They split, but Jax’s temper was out of control, and it soon came out that he had been a cocaine addict for around two decades.
He headed to a treatment center, but he was still harassing Brittany, and he returned home just as bad. Finally, Jax left The Valley after Season 2 and is not in the current season. TMZ recently caught up with the former bar owner, who claimed that he was a year and a half sober. He was asked about the show and if he had any interest in getting back into the game. The 46-year-old Shelby Township, Michigan, native claimed that it was not even on his radar. However, it appeared that he was very tuned into the Season 3 premiere and was even trolling Brittany from a burner Instagram account.
This person was insulting her looks and poking fun at her plastic surgery. Brittany immediately called him out, and it was reposted everywhere. Jax also added that he is not even watching the show and is solely focused on himself. Of course, no one believed any of this for a second and questioned if he was sober.
