The Toronto Argonauts have selected Kevin Eiben and Carl Brazley for induction into the All-Time Argos list, the team announced on Wednesday.

Eiben played for the Boatmen from 2001 to 2011 after taken with the No. 26 overall pick in the 2001 CFL Draft. The native of Delta, B.C. dressed for 165 regular-season games, recording 703 defensive tackles, 81 special teams tackles, 15 sacks, 12 fumble recoveries, and 10 interceptions. He ranks second in team history in defensive tackles and still holds the club record for single-season special teams tackles with 33.

The six-foot, 215-pound defender was Toronto’s nominee for Most Outstanding Canadian six times. He was also a three-time All-CFL selection, five-time All-East Division selection, and won one Grey Cup as a player. Eiben also coached with the Argonauts from 2017 to 2025, helping the team win three more Grey Cups.

“Simply put, Kevin Eiben was made to play the game!” said general manager Michael Clemons in a statement. “A little undersized, he wasn’t the fastest player on the field, but he was the guy who got up off the returner most often. He was a tackling machine!”

“Kevin Eiben embodied everything you want in an Argonaut—toughness, leadership, and unwavering commitment to the team,” said Argos Alumni Association president Jason Pottinger. “His outstanding career and lasting impact on the organization make him an exceptional choice for the All-Time Argos.”

Brazley played for the Argonauts from 1983 to 1992, dressing for 138 regular-season games. The native of Louisville, Ky. was named All-CFL four times with the Argonauts and helped the team win two Grey Cups. He still ranks fourth all-time in team history with 37 interceptions and third all-time with 15 fumble recoveries.

“Carl Brazley was so much more than a football player,” said Clemons. “He mentored a rookie Pinball and a rookie Rocket Ismail. He was a family man with cat-like instincts who became a league all-star an incredible five consecutive years.”

“Carl Brazley was a game changer whenever he stepped onto the field,” said Pottinger. “His remarkable contributions to some of the most memorable teams in Argonauts history have left a lasting mark on our franchise, and we are proud to welcome him into the All-Time Argos.”

The induction will occur during halftime of the team’s game against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats at BMO Field on August 22.

Started in 1997, the All-Time Argonauts list includes 28 of the top players and builders in team history. The most recent additions were Chris Shultz and Nick Volpe.

The Toronto Argonauts (1-1) will visit the Saskatchewan Roughriders (2-0) at Mosaic Stadium on Friday, June 26 with kickoff scheduled for 9:00 p.m. EDT. The Argonauts are coming off a 44-24 win over the Ottawa Redblacks, while the Roughriders beat the Calgary Stampeders in overtime.

The weather forecast in Regina calls for a high of 25 degrees and sun. The game will be broadcast on TSN in Canada, CBS Sports Network in the United States, and CFL+ internationally. Radio listeners can tune in on TSN 1050 in Toronto or 620 CKRM in Regina.
