Greene previously became known to many after serving as the U.S. representative for Georgia’s 14th congressional district. She first took on the role in 2021, resigning in 2026.
Greene, while an advocate of Trump during his first presidency, became critical of him during his second term. Since her 2026 resignation, she has continued to voice her views with various outlets.
Recently, Greene appeared on “Piers Morgan Uncensored,” where she said that she reached out to FBI Director Kash Patel and other senior Trump administration officials. This was after threats against her “escalated” to target one of her children.
During the appearance, Greene shared, “I was so upset over death threats on my children because of him,” referring to President Donald Trump, echoing claims that she had been a “traitor.” She continued, I’m not a traitor to my country. Standing up for rape victims doesn’t make me a traitor,” in reference to the victims of the Epstein files, which she has called to be released.

Greene also claimed that during her last meeting with President Donald Trump, Greene shared that she got “no compassion whatsoever.” When Morgan asked what was said, she continued, “He had no compassion for death threats on my children. He blamed me basically that if my son were to get killed, it would be my fault.”
Greene also felt that, “Some of my biggest political enemies would never say that to me.” Calling this “unimaginable,” she continued, “No one’s ever said those types of words to me.”
Piers Morgan hit Marjorie Taylor Greene with a surprise statement from the White House during their interview, in response to one of her recent critical posts about Trump. She looked visibly caught off guard and embarrassed.

In a statement with The Hill, the White House dubbed Greene a “quitter who is pathetically trying to stay relevant by going on liberal media shows to bash President Trump.” This was possibly a reference to Greene’s appearances on The View, as well as recent podcast appearances. Spokesperson Davis Ingle also described her as having “Trump Derangement Syndrome.”
Morgan himself read this statement to Greene during her appearance. Sharing that this was the first time she heard this, she claimed she was happy to no longer be part of this “institution,” citing approval ratings.
