TWICE dropped a two-word announcement on their official Instagram page Monday that had the fandom moving fast: “ATM 2.0.”
The post on @twicetagram went up June 1, 2026. The hashtags said everything that needed to be said: #TWICE and #JIHYO together on a title reveal. The group’s leader got her name in the announcement. Put someone in the tags on a title drop and you know they’re not riding in the back.
JIHYO has led TWICE since the nine-member group’s debut under JYP Entertainment in 2015. She’s been the captain from the jump, and the fandom – known as ONCE – has watched her grow from teenage idol to one of the most respected group leaders in K-pop. Her name in the ATM 2.0 hashtags signals she’s got a front-facing role in this release, not just a member credit.
The original “ATM” is an established track in TWICE’s catalog, and a 2.0 follow-up suggests the group is revisiting that energy with something new. The announcement itself was minimal: the title and the hashtags. No release date, no tracklist. ATM 2.0’s exact format isn’t confirmed yet. It could be a comeback single, an EP, or a larger project.
What the post did deliver was numbers. The announcement crossed 184,000 likes on its first day. For a group that’s been active for over a decade, that kind of immediate response shows ONCE is fully locked in. The fandom came through fast, fam.
TWICE has built serious momentum outside of South Korea over the past several years. The group has toured North America and Europe to packed arenas, and their English-language releases have consistently cracked the Billboard charts. They’re among the K-pop acts that have found strong crossover success without losing the core audience back home. A summer announcement from TWICE carries weight on both sides of the Pacific. ATM 2.0 is dropping at the start of the season. The timing feels right.
JIHYO has stayed active on the solo front too. She released her debut solo mini-album “ZONE” in 2023, and that project showed she’s got real range as an individual artist. Beyond group comebacks, she’s proven she can carry her own spotlight. Her name being highlighted in the ATM 2.0 announcement could mean a co-written credit or a lead role in the visual concept. It could also signal something bigger across the whole rollout. None of that is confirmed yet.
JYP Entertainment hasn’t released additional details alongside the initial post. The label typically builds out a comeback over several drops – teaser content, concept photos, tracklist reveals. Then the full release lands. More is coming, fam. ONCE will want to keep notifications on.
TWICE is one of the most consistent acts in K-pop history. ATM 2.0 already has the energy of a major moment, and JIHYO leading the charge makes it even more worth watching. The era has officially started.
