Unexpected star Bella Vaughn’s parents, Falen and Kris, have caught an immense amount of heat for what they allow their daughter to do. She was just fourteen when she and her twelve-year-old boyfriend found out they were pregnant. Now, more secrets are coming out about Kris and Falen, including a divorce and bankruptcy. Keep reading for more details about when this all went down.
Bella Vaughn’s Parents Declare Bankruptcy
Unexpected fans have watched Bella Vaughn and her boyfriend, Hunter Johnson, welcome a son, Wes. She was just fifteen, and he was thirteen, which raised many eyebrows. Along with that, they were showering together as soon as they returned home from delivery. Then, four days postpartum, they confessed they had already been intimate and soon enough, had another pregnancy scare. Viewers could not believe how comfortable Bella was when discussing sex with her parents, Kris and Falen. Moreover, they felt that Falen was living vicariously through Bella and her sister, who was also pregnant.
As the season went on, it came out that Kris and Falen had divorced a decade ago, only to reconnect and remarry. During this time, Kris got the family home while Falen got their three daughters. However, Kris failed to pay the mortgage and lost the home. Now, it has been revealed that the couple also filed for bankruptcy shortly before their marriage ended. It was a Chapter 7 bankruptcy, aka a “liquidation bankruptcy.” This would allow them to start all over and have most of their debts gone for good. Allegedly, the couple had around $144,325.00 in assets and personal property, but just $25 on their person and the same amount in the bank.
