Recently, Valerie took to Instagram to mourn a recent loss in her family. She had lost “Sir Henry,” a white cat she had owned for over a decade.
The share included a single image of Sir Henry. With his face shown from the side, he could be seen looking out the window.
Valerie’s Son, Wolfgang Van Halen, Also Shared His Condolences In The Comments
In a simple caption, Valerie shared, “Rest in peace, my sweet, gentle, perfect boy.” She added a dedication, “Sir Henry 2013-2026,” complete with a broken heart emoji. Valerie is especially known for his love of her furry friends, even having a special social media account meant to showcase them.
Wolfgang Van Halen, Valerie’s son with her ex-husband, the late musician Eddie Van Halen, also expressed his condolences while offering words of comfort toward his mother. He wrote, “Can’t even begin to explain how special of a cat Henry was. Love you, Ma,” adding a heart emoji. Valerie herself responded to this with a crying face emoji.
Taking to the comments, fans shared further words of condolence toward the star. Many also shared stories of loss and their furry friends. Some comments included:
