They act as if they know absolutely everything, but the correct responses are all right in front of them. However, Ken has been in the hot seat and played the game, hence how he was chosen to take over for Alex Trebek. As for Ryan Seacrest, he has yet to be a contestant on Wheel of Fortune. Ryan Spins The Wheel
When it was announced that Pat Sajak would be retiring, fans were shocked and saddened. They did not know who would take over hosting Wheel of Fortune, and if it would be someone new or someone familiar. Names were thrown around, and ultimately, American Idol host Ryan Seacrest was announced as his successor. Fans were unsure if he could cut it or if they wanted someone new, but he has won them over. Now, Ryan is taking a chance as a contestant and doing it his way.
The hit game show decided to showcase Ryan Seacrest as if he were a WoF contestant. He gave all of the details about himself, including how he was from Dunwoody, Georgia. Ryan also added a fun fact about himself and his life growing up:
“Fun fact, I played football as a kid growing up and I’ve always wanted to be the host of a game show.”
He continued to joke about his game show host aspirations, although he was playing the role of contestant. Furthermore, he noted that his main strategy would be to buy a vowel, but only if there was one letter remaining. Finally, the Wheel of Fortune host was candid about how he would fare on the show:
“Sometimes I think I would be okay at this, maybe even decent or good, and then I think maybe not. It just depends. I am not good under pressure as a contestant on anything, so I think hosting is probably better for me.”
