The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have signed two American defensive backs to their practice roster, Kaylin Moore and Matthew Jackson.
Jackson spent his entire collegiate career at Eastern Kentucky University, where he amassed 294 total tackles, 27.5 tackles for loss, eight sacks, three forced fumbles, 14 pass breakups, and two interceptions for the Colonels. He was twice named a first-team all-conference selection and earned third-team FCS All-American honours as a senior in 2022.
The six-foot-one, 209-pound safety went unselected in the 2023 NFL Draft, but signed with the Tennessee Titans as an undrafted free agent and made the team. He dressed for 10 games as a rookie and recorded six tackles. Jackson was cut during training camp the following season, but was picked up by the Jacksonville Jaguars. He spent the majority of the year on the practice roster, dressing for one game in 2024.

Moore wrapped up his collegiate career in 2024 at UCLA, becoming an All-Big Ten honourable mention. In 12 games for the Bruins, he made 37 total tackles, two tackles for loss, one interception, one forced fumble, and nine pass breakups.
The five-foot-11, 190-pound cover man transferred from the University of California, where he was credited with 24 tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, and two pass breakups in 12 games. He spent the previous two seasons at the University of Colorado, notching 45 tackles, one tackle for loss, and three pass breakups with the Buffaloes.
The Blue Bombers (1-1) are on a bye in Week 3. They will return to action on Thursday, June 5, when they host the Edmonton Elks.
