Recently, Hope has opened up about a health issue that has caused her years of suffering without answers. After learning more about the situation, the star wants to share what she knows now.
Taking to her Instagram Stories, Hope opened up about an “endometriosis excision surgery” two years ago. Sharing that “Endometriosis, adenomyosis and PMOS are no joke,” Hope explained, “It took me 34 years and multiple gynos to finally get diagnosed with all three by the best, Dr. Thaïs Aliabadi. Now, two years later I am recovering after my surgery to remove it all.”
The Actress Called On Fans To Seek Help If They Think Something Is Wrong With Their Health
The surgery resulted in “finding lesions” all over one of her ovaries, “(with an endometrioma [a fluid-filled, noncancerous cyst] inside),” on Hope’s “fallopian tube, the entire backside” of her uterus and her colon… “plus my left ovary was completely attached/stuck to my intestines from it.”
Thanks to this, Hope shared that she was grateful to have answers after “decades of pain and symptoms.” She then encouraged followers to seek help if they think something’s wrong.

As noted by Soaps, Hope shared, “Advocate for yourself if you believe you may have endo, adeno or PMOS! Intense pain, exhaustion, inflammation, cysts and bleeding aren’t normal! I normally don’t share health updates, but if I had known sooner what to look for, I could have potentially saved myself years of suffering.”
